VJ Ultra on hyvin vaimennettu polkukenkä, joka on kehitetty yhdessä huippu-urheilijoiden kanssa. Nimensä mukaisesti Ultra soveltuu täydellisesti pitkille matkoille ja niille juoksijoille, jotka arvostavat vaimennuksen tuomaa mukavuutta. Vaimennuksesta huolimatta keveyden tai juostavuuden suhteen ei ole tehty kompromisseja.
VJ:lle tunnusomaisesta loistavasta pidosta huolehtii omasta erikoiskumistamme valmistettu Superior Contact -ulkopohja. Medium+ -lestiin on tuotu lisää varvastilaa, joka tekee juoksusta tasapainoisempaa ja mukavampaa. Aramidikuiduilla vahvistettu päällinen on kestävä ja hengittävä.

As their name states, they're made for ultra trails. I have discovered the VJ Ultra's in 2022 and after the first trail race I told myself "how did you manage not to find these gems before?" . The grip is just fantastic. Raining hard and a lot of slippery spots on the trail? No problem, you will notice it is slippery only by seeing the other runners with some other brands struggling to stay on their feet. They are comfortable, a lot of space for the toes, the water goes in and out.
Why I don't give 5 stars then? Well, there is a well-known design fault in the outsoles and part of it needs frequent super glue repairs. My 2 pairs of Ultra's suffered the exact same issues. This was fixed in the Ultra 2 models though and the outsoles have less points of failure. That's why I recommend the Ultra 2 over the Ultra 1.
